Terms and Conditions for Purchases at Janjala

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before placing an order on Janjala.com. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
“Janjala,” “we,” “us,” “our”
Refers to Janjala, a Nigerian online retailer of electronics, home essentials, and more.
“You,” “your,” “Customer”
Refers to any individual or entity who places an order through Janjala.
“Products”
Any goods offered for sale on Janjala.com.
Order Placement
When you submit an order, you are making an offer to purchase Products subject to these Terms. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
Order Confirmation
We will send you an email confirmation once your order is received. This confirmation does not signify acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Janjala reserves the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including product unavailability or pricing errors.
Prices
All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include VAT where applicable. Shipping, handling, and other fees are added at checkout.
Payment Methods
We accept major debit / credit cards and popular Nigerian payment gateways (e.g., Paystack, Flutterwave). Payment must be received in full before your order is shipped.
Currency Conversion
If you use a foreign card, your bank’s exchange rate applies. Janjala is not responsible for variations in the final charged amount due to currency fluctuations.

Standard Delivery (5–7 business days)
Express Delivery (2–3 business days)
Shipping Fees
Calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.
Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Janjala is not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect addresses.
Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery confirmation by our carrier.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel an order within 1 hour of placement by contacting support@janjala.com. After dispatch, cancellation is not guaranteed.
Returns
Eligibility:
Defective, damaged, or incorrect items
Unopened and unused Products in original packaging
Procedure:
Request authorization within 7 days of delivery.
Ship the Product back at your cost, unless the error is on our part.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
Exchanges
Exchanges are subject to stock availability and may incur additional shipping fees.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
Products may carry a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty claims must be submitted directly to the manufacturer, unless otherwise stated.
Disclaimer of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Janjala’s liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the purchase of Products is limited to the purchase price you paid.
All content on Janjala.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Janjala or its licensors and protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our express written permission.
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
Janjala reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
